Susan Bourgeois is Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development, the state’s primary economic development agency. She previously led SBB Consulting and served for 17 years as CEO of the Northshore Community Foundation. Her background also includes executive roles in state government and public affairs, including in Governor M. J. Foster’s administration.

Bourgeois is known for her visionary approach, collaborative mindset, and deep understanding of both policy and people. She’s an active member of the International Women’s Forum and has held leadership roles on numerous boards, including GNO Inc. and the Northshore Business Council.
